Prior to Canvas, Harrison worked at SoftBank where he helped launch SoftBank’s Latin America Fund and invested in Kavak, QuintoAndar, and Clip. He also supported the firm’s investments in SoFi and WeWork. Prior to SoftBank, Harrison signed over a dozen marketplace and content licensing partnerships as a member of the Business Development team at Yelp. He began his career in investment banking at Evercore.

Harrison joined Canvas in 2020 because of its collaborative and entrepreneurial culture and focus on mission-driven, category-defining entrepreneurs. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and vizsla, Mars.

Harrison holds a BA in Science, Technology, and Society from the University of Pennsylvania.

Biography

Harrison focuses on marketplaces, software, and fintech. Harrison’s interest in technology started early; his first job was at an Apple store in his hometown of Delray Beach, Florida. He loved working directly with customers and understanding how technology transformed their everyday lives.
