Pitching a story is an art. I love helping founders shape meaningful narratives and get their stories out there―it is an integral part of building an authentic brand.

Ali started her journey in public relations on the other side of the desk, working in local TV as a broadcast news writer and producer. She parlayed this experience into public relations and started working with a New York-based agency as an account executive. Most recently, Ali served as Director of PR and Communications for Mighty, a boutique agency in San Francisco.

Ali is proud of her Midwest roots but prefers the California weather. She lives in San Francisco with her husband, Kyle, and their two children, Olin and Madeline. They enjoy hiking, exploring the city’s beautiful parks, and finding the most delicious ice cream spot.

Ali holds a BA in English from Kent State University.

As Director of PR and Communications, Ali leads Canvas’ media relations and supports Canvas entrepreneurs with PR strategy. She brings over a decade of experience in public relations, having worked with powerhouse clients such as Initialized Capital, Wells Fargo, Steelcase, and Mini Cooper, as well as energetic startups such as Grabango, Caffeine, and KeepTruckin.

Ali holds a BA in English from Kent State University.
